BDD 2007 - AP Help SDK (Workshop)

SetUp Workshop

Within Business Desktop Deployment 2007 is the AP Help SDK. This is primarily for integrating Microsoft and OEM help content into Vista Help. It is not recommended for general use. BDD can be run on Windows XP but you will need Vista (and possibly Win 2003 SP1 server) to test the output.

If you are really curious download the BDD 2007 and have a look.

After downloading (27,7 MB) and installing BDD 2007 you have to download some more bits (> 150 MB).

1. Click to "Start"
2. Select "All Programs"
3. Click "BDD 2007"
4. Click "Deployment Workbench" to start the application
5. On the left side open "Information Center"
6. Select "Components"
7. From the list select (e.g. for x86) "Windows Automated Installation Kit (x86)"
8. Click the "Download" button (Attention (!) I think nearly 150 MB)

After completing the download you'll find "Windows Automated Installation Kit (x86)" in the "Downloaded" section. Select and press the "Install" button and follow the instructions.

Then open your Windows Explorer and browse to:
C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\SDKs\Help and Support\
